RAMEN TURNTABLE

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION- COURSE WORK

For this project, we were asked to create a digital illustration that combined two things that represent us. I chose to merge my love of eating ramen with my passion for collecting vinyl records. I designed the chopsticks to act as the tonearm of a record player, while the ramen bowl became the vinyl disc itself.

To keep the focus on the concept, I created a monotone record player, allowing the colourful bowl of ramen to become the main visual focal point. This contrast highlights both elements of my personality while showcasing my skills in digital illustration. The final piece is playful, personal, and visually cohesive, successfully blending two interests into one unified design.
