For this project, the brief was to design an adaptive web layout for the touring EDM festival Elektrik Eel, creating engaging graphics and a seamless user experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop. We were tasked with designing both the home page and the artists page.

I began by exploring how to visually express the energy of an EDM festival while leaning into a futuristic aesthetic that would attract users and reflect the festival’s identity. I developed a space themed background paired with futuristic typography to reinforce this direction. Contrasting colours helped build a cool, electrified atmosphere.

To elevate the concept further, I added glowing hover effects to the type and incorporated bold, dynamic graphics throughout the layout. For the artists page, I carried this visual language across, combining the same typography with bright, high-impact artist imagery to enhance the futuristic tone. Together, these elements create a visually immersive and cohesive digital experience that aligns with the vibrant energy of the festival.
