JUNO
PACKAGING- COURSEWORK
For this project, I addressed a personal and widespread consumer need by redesigning feminine hygiene packaging, specifically women’s pads. I noticed that current packaging often feels shameful, bland and overly reliant on plastic, making it hard for women to carry or display emergency pads with confidence.
I created Juno, named after the Roman goddess of women’s health and fertility, to celebrate femininity and remove stigma around a normal part of womanhood. The packaging features a modern, discreet box design that fits easily into any pocket or handbag, paired with contemporary floral graphics that make it feel stylish rather than clinical. Sustainability was a core focus, with recyclable cardboard packaging and biodegradable labels and pads.
Beyond packaging, I designed an extended product range to support women’s needs: a handbag pouch for carrying feminine products on the go, a stress-relief candle, a period log book and stylish tote bags for everyday use. Together, these elements create a cohesive, empowering, and environmentally conscious brand experience.
